As a first time skater I was a bit nervous about getting my first pair of roller skates. The staff were patient and went through the skates and protective gear, taking the time to show me how to put it on and making sure the sizing was perfect. Even my husband left with skates (photo) and gear, we will definitely be going back when I upgrade my skates.

I've been coming here for years. Lucky's is - objectively speaking - the best shop in Perth for blades, skates, roller derby and roller hockey gear. Without equal.They take the time to get it right, so you can be certain before you invest in top quality kit.They have so much knowledge, and the folks there are kind and thoughtful as they impart it.It's a small and sometimes very busy store though - judge how long you might need for a fitting (better yet - ask), and aim for a quiet period to get the most help.The selection is great, the service unparalleled, and the people pretty rad.Wanna try skating again after you last skated as a teenager? Lucky's.

Staff are absolutely amazing. They didn't try to sell a specific skate, or above my price range. What they did was discussed what I liked and didn't like about each skate I tried on, and based on that feedback try another skate.I bought some skates, and they fit exactly what I wanted, and I felt my skate game improved. I've returned to the store again to get advice on bearings and a few other things, and again - superior support from this business.Cannot rate them high enough, so many other companies could learn from this team.

We knew it would be a long wait on a Saturday morning to get in and be served. We took a drink, some grapes and a good book each. The line was long and across the pavement outside and it took 30 minutes to get in to the store.So worth it! There is so much stock to choose from, everything you could possibly need for skating!The staff were so helpful! I am skating again as an almost 50 year old! It’s so much fun!!

Store was well stocked with everything from skates to accessories covering most skating disciplines. But it was the staff who really made the difference. They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and really went out of their way to help us get the best skates within our budget. Best experience, thank you lucky skates.
