Deepwater Park

During the day it is a nice place to relax but at night the mossies are a bit hard to put up with

What a great park to visit. Everyone you meet there is so friendly and comes up to talk to you.Saw a fox, that was cool.I used to go there as a kid, riding my bike around and to go fishing. But there are too many snakes in the bushes now.

Not too busy. good space for kids and bbq without water being too close. Parking is easy. There's a bathroom but it can be locked depending on time and it's not at all clean.

Perfect place for a picnic, calm and quiet,The playground was awesome, but the toilet was closed and maintenance was not the best.There are some construction going on to the adjacent site, so it might get better soon.

Still a nice place for a walk but the closure of the Deepwater motorboat Club and it's rebirth as a boat storage facility means that that end of the area is very much an eyesore. There seems to be rubbish everywhere and I've seen better looking tips! They have also stolen part of the walking track along that part of the river. If you stay away from that end of it the rest is nice.

A great little place for just about anything. From early morning to late afternoon or any time in between, while it isn’t a big place, the nice, flat, wheelchair friendly grounds have plenty of shade from the trees and are nicely maintained by Bankstown Council. While camping isn’t permitted, it’s ideal for just about anything else including: picnics, barbeques, boating, fishing, kayaking you name it. Facilities include: Parking for the full length of the park; play furniture for the kids set in mulch in case one takes a tumble; covered picnic tables; tap water; clean public convenience with wheelchair access and a cycle way that gives any wheelchair bound visitors and easy, self propelled tour along the waters edge for the full length of the park. Snakes have been seen in the surrounding area, so stick to the cycle way if exploring beyond the main picnic grounds..

Nice park beside the Georges River. Picnic area, BBQs, children's play area and fishing off the bank.Make sure to pack the repellent as the mozzies and midges can be quite thick.

Wow what a spot i loved going down here walking around the park enjoying outdoor recreation time with family and friends . But be sure to be well and truly out before the sunsets as all the local deviets seem to congregate around the amenitie block. Going down their at night time is scary specially when their is fully grown adult men hiding out at least 6m back in the swampy woods wearing little clothing . Think i will stick to visiting this spot in daylight hours

Great park , went for walk with family. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset and views. Kids playgrounds and BBQ spots available. And finally if you’re a fishing person then you can cast your fishing rod in the water. Overall great place. But mosquitoes can make you bit unsettled when sun goes down.
