I come for the view and the quiet, council takes good care of this area big thanks to them. But there are alot Karen's that will say that your placid dog is dangerous but won't have the chahoonies to say it to your face. One of the most beautiful places in the Illawarra

Beautiful place at sunset , plenty of room for family outings on the weekend, great view of the lake and on a good day there's a few pelicans that are always looking for a treat, wonderful spot would recommend getting there rather early on a weekend as it's a popular place.. A++ until my next review

Gorgeous family oriented park. Great play centre for kids with incredible views of the water. An all round enjoyable place to take the family for a stroll around the park.

Lots of space along the lake foreshore, walking paths, picnic areas, playgrounds.There are several jetties for walking or fishing and boat ramps at the far (eastern) end of Kanahooka Point.There are public toilets, though well maintained or serviced.Several shops are opposite the main playground area, which is also flanked by flat, wide open grass areas.

Great quiet place during the week to have a picnic or short drive from takeaway shops. Some picnic shelters/toilets. On elivated place looks directly fronting Lake illawarra shore & boat ramp. Plenty of parkingCan just sit in car ,if that suits you.

A large Lakeside park with a range of facilities, including picnic areas, children's playground, large open spaces with cycleway asking the lake.
