Great little area to relax and throw a line in, or go for a jog. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of rubbish dumped in the parking are which detracted from the aesthetics of the park. We were having to constantly check that the kids hadn't taken their shoes off as there was a fair amount of broken glass in the area. Overall we enjoyed our day out exploring the water inlets and watching the light planes fly overhead.

Nice location, not busy. Good for open party events. Planes constantly fly over every few minutes.

It is excellent for picnics due to it flat surface; but it does lack of electric barbecues and shelters
