Prince Edward Park

A short visit in the early evening. A beautiful location and lots of flowers and native shrubs.

Prince Edward Park foreshore contains remnant Coastal Saltmarsh and is an important stopover point for the Bar-tailed Godwit. Please keep your dog on-leash when you are here and see these birds. They are exhausted and need to refuel on their 11,000km flight from Siberia to New Zealand!

I love Sydney's harbour side parks. This one is cute.

We went here for a walk one evening mid Jan 2019.The park itself is very nice and the walking path along the foreshore water is beautiful and scenic, and private boat jetties.There is a play area for young children as well.There is also a very charming Italian restaurant there which was closed on that day, and which we intend to visit sometime soon.The park is nice for a long walk along the water's edge and possibly bicycle around too, (easy pace not serious training).And a golf course nearby.One thing that bothered me though, is that the beautiful grass lawns along the waters edge were strewn with dog poo.Not just one or two instances, but plenty.I saw many local residents walking their dog there.

We take our dogs here regularly. Great car free walking around the foreshore. Gentle beach. Fun playground.

Great walking path around the bay at Cabarita Bay.Look across the bay to the old bushels building. Lots of places to sit down and there are BBQ's that are available to the public. The path continues right around for several kilometers you can step off the path and head to the shore in the sand and have a look around the rocks.Great place for walking the dog or taking the kids to play in the various play areas that have some good equipment

Calm soothing garden on the banks of Parramatta river. Great view of wharf side luxury cottages and their boat berths!

Great little spot. Parking is tight, but part of a long foreshore walk. Kiosk there, but closed on my Easter visit. A tiny beach, but found Warrigal Greens on the waterline.

Beautiful place...you can walk along the shoreline..very clean and peaceful
