Gorgeous walk, forest, gullies and waterfalls. Some open drops so be careful with the kids.

Very beautiful and scenic park, however, some trails were very rugged, unsafe and they had very poor signage. We got lost on a two hour trial and ended up at a dead end. We met with an older couple who were screaming hello as they were also lost. They told us there was nothing further ahead so we all turned back. Very dangerous paths as it was wet, very narrow and some were steep.Nonetheless, if you stuck to the popular main trails then I'm sure you'd be fine.Would take caution either way.

Great place to go trail running. Lots of trails cross at this point. Lawson parkrun operated here every Saturday morning at 8am also. You don't need to go to the upper mountains for great trail running. The Mid Mountains is a trail runners paradise

This park gives you access to a number of walking trails and waterfalls. The park is well signposted (the signposts will direct you to other parking areas nearby for more convenient access to Frederica Falls). The easiest walk here is to the Fairy Falls, a nice place to come after a little rain. On from the the Fairy Falls is St Michael Falls which involves steep sections and cliff edges (but is a magical place).A different set of tracks will lead to the Frederica Falls (you may find this a little harder to locate, as the most direct walking route starts from a nearby park parking station and the start point for the route is not obvious.

A rough track most of the way, going down to dantes Glen was abit of a nightmare with the steps, the bridge was abit wobbly but the waterfalls were worth it. Couldn't see St micheals falls cause of a no through sign and couldn't see the other one cause empire pass was closed. The park had no tables or chairs for a picnic we were abit disappointed in it
