Lisgar Gardens
Very good place to have a break. It is a small garden with plenty of grass, trees and flowers. You also can find fish there.

While the gardens are vested at a beautiful location, the upper gardens are quite small and the lower gardens are essentially just normal bush at a hillside. The facilities are very limited and the public toilets lack good maintenance. The lower gardens loop walk trails don't have good sign posts to tell how far and how difficult they may be. These trails are not shown in Google maps and you could be left to your own device.

A lovely garden in the Hornsby area. This garden also connected with some walking track to do bushwalking session, hence you could spend the whole day exploring its surrounding area too.Well maintained and refreshing to explore.Parking is off the street which can be a challenging during the peak hours.

Lovely place to visit, walk around or just sit.Note: the inclinator is not readily accessible to able-bodied persons. You need to contact a Gardens person in order to make use of it and even then you have to have a physical need to use it.This restriction doesn't really encourage older people to visit..they can make it down by foot but might struggle on the return ascent.Neat tidy gardens.Pretty flower beds.

Good park which is close to the bush. Good number of picnic spots. Good place to go for a bush walk. Fish ponds are good for kids. This place is not accessible. Also to enjoy the park it needs a bit of stairs. The garden is maintained well. Great for families.

Lisgar Gardens is a treasure close to the centre of Hornsby. It is a place of beautiful gardens, flowers, plants, and a magnificent fish pond. It is amazing to see just how few people visit Lisgar Gardens, seeing how spectacular it is and how easy it is to get to. The council does a great job in maintaining the gardens, and in providing clean toilets for use.

Great quiet space. I've been here loads of times, and never seen it busy. So if you looking for a spot to have a picnic without having to contend for space then this is a place to do that.

This is a relaxing hidden gem, tucked inside Hornsby suburbia. It's just a few minutes drive from the main street but feels like a trip to another world, with water features, a wide array of botanical species, mossy rock formations, natural light, lizards and koi. It's an easy walk, has wheelchair access via an inclinator, and is suitable for exploring with the kids. The temperature drop makes it a great escape from the heat of summer days.
