The attention to detail in Mezzapica's cakes and pastries is outstanding. Everything they make is super high quality. Judging by the constant stream of customers we saw on our last visit, it seems we are not the only people for whom Mezzapica has become a regular favourite.

The bacon and egg rolls were just amazing THEN someone decided to take the cheese out if the egg!! It’s just dry now and not the same flavour and that’s such a shame… please reply to this if you decide to bring the cheese back so I can return

I came in on a Wednesday to order my birthday cake, the lady serving me said in a condescending manner oh you are buying your own birthday cake" to which I answered

Lovely customer service....but unfortunately both cakes I bought were not very fresh. Very disappointed......

Was recommended this place by a local for good cakes and cannoli’s but was thoroughly disappointed with the service provided. The lady serving me was was quite rude and offensive when I asked her questions about the flavours of the cannoli’s and macaroons. This lady originally tells me that the macaroons are all the same flavour despite there being 3 colours.. she asks me which one I want, and I said, it doesn’t matter since they’re all the same flavour… this lady looked at my like I was the dumbest person alive and said to me “well no. There’s 3 flavours… a RED one, a GREEN one and coconut”. I was honestly lost for words on how to even respond to that. That’s 2 colours and 1 flavour.At the time, I thought she just had a bad attitude, however seeing another review comment about having a racist experience likely explains what I had experienced.Not only is poor customer service rampant in this place, they also don’t accommodate any allergy requests. I’m not talking about making a new batch or anything here. My partner has a nut allergy and I simply asked her to grab the cannoli’s that were not touching the stack of hazelnut flavoured cannoli’s and put them separately from the macaroon. This lady proceeds to place my one macaroon in a box and started stacking my cannoli’s in with the macaroon. I told her again that my partner is allergic and that macaroons are made of almonds and to have this placed separately. She looks at me again and says “what do you want because I don’t understand what you’re asking”. I repeated it again to have the one macaroon placed separately so that there’s no cross contamination. This lady proceeds to use THE SAME tongs to grab the macaroon out and then proceed to use THE SAME tongs for the cannoli’s… I had given up at that point. There’s clearly a disregard for providing any sort of customer service or even attempts to try and accommodate to people with allergies. Thankfully my partner is not anaphylactic, however our intention was to try their cannoli’s before ordering a bigger batch to bring to a family birthday the next day whom the birthday boy has severe reactions to nuts. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. I’d rather settle for pre-packed desserts from Woolworths than to come back here. There’s at least better customer service from the self checkout machines.

Mezzapica made our wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job. The cake was exactly how i envisioned it would be and tasted DELICIOUS!! All our guests loved it. I highly recommend for event cakes

Potato pie and chicken sandwich were average, sandwich was burnt. Ordered 2 cakes. Black Forrest and strawberry mousse cake. Black Forrest was nice the mousse cake wasn't like a mousse cake at all and it was pretty much falling apart when I brought it home.

If you like Italian desserts then try mezzapica at Gledswood Hill the best Italian desserts in south west, you won’t even need to drive to Leichhardt to enjoy nice pastries, biscuits and sweets. The ricotta cannoli is everyone’s favourite and they are deliciously good. They come in mini sizes at $2 or normal size at $3 which are reasonably priced. I recently bought a few and did a high tea with other treats, what a fantastic idea which saves you time making them. Add a few biscotti’s and your done for the afternoon with a nice cup of Toby’s estate coffee. Enjoy!
