The Australian Botanic Garden
The Australian Botanic Garden is just beautiful. We went for a walk around the flower garden in the centre near the information area and it was lovely looking at all the species of plants. It’s well maintained. The gift shop has some love lovely items, good for some presents. The picnic areas that can be hired are great. We had a 3rd birthday party at one of the shelters and there was plenty of space for games, a bbq lunch, and it was private.

Best picnic spot. Nice green garden. Well maintained. Lots of parking, wash room. Kids playgrounds. If you want to learn about trees and flowers, this is the best place.

Spring is the best time to see the paper daisies in bloom. I suggest going on a weekday to avoid the crowds. This place is free and there’s a little cafe round the corner.

Arguably one of the best Botanic Gardens in Sydney. It's very well maintained, a great place to take your family for a walk and have a picnic.Large carpark, walk and cycling track.

Magical place!I have been going to the botanical gardens for many years! I go to do my power walk escape, my lunch break when I am around the area, and family picnics!! So many memories… I love how you can walk and learn about our native flora, with birds and insects.. and can spot a wallaby sometimes if you’re lucky ☺️

An amazing experience!!! The Australian Botanic Garden is a perfect spot to visit, walk, picnic, or ride a bike. Plenty of beautiful tracks to explore. A large number of sitting areas to gather and enjoy birthdays or parties. Plenty of car parks and free entry. A reminder that only bottles gas is permitted for bbq. Highly recommended!!!

The Australian Botanic Garden
A great picnic spot and absolutely scenic. The japanese garden inside is breath taking. We got free entry as there was wedding photography scheduled on that Sunday. Good for kids and couples!!! Surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers, I highly recommend this place. You will find beautiful trail for walking and also barbecue slots along with picnic bench. There is play area for kids, which is poorly maintained but still usable. Public toilets and parking available so good place to visit.

The Australian Botanic Garden
This was honestly a great place to visit with my family. the terrain and overall atmosphere felt fantastic and there was even a playground for my kids to hang out in during our downtime. This would be a great place for any family to have a small picnic or potentially a medium-sized gathering. Looking at nature as you walk through the area really adds to the ambiance of this area. I would really recommend this place for first-time comers to Mount Annan. This place is really great and I would come again

A fantastic free garden with excellent walking paths. You can easily spend many hours here with great picnic area to choose from. Highly recommended.

Great place for a family day out and hiking. But be careful we spoted a eastern brown snake crossing our path. Dont approach and just let them be.
