Simmos Beach
Beautiful quiet spot, a beach with a river instead of the ocean. Water quality is great here, perfect for a swim. Great spot for the family, many walks to go on, and a playground in the carpark area.

It's changed alot I bring the family down here for a swim ,it's got a little park ,white sand and great place for a picnic, swim ,barbarcue,hike

Simmos Beach
Love walking our dog around the trails and beach when it's empty.Would like to see the visitors put their rubbish in bins provided and show your kids how to respect nature. It's an oasis in the area and we need more of these preserved.

A gorgeous bushwalking spot with lots of different walking tracks along the George’s River. Plenty of nice spots to take a dip. Beautiful rock faces and river views some quite sandy. Nice to see bird life and native Orchids too. Has lots of picnic tables and BBQs also. Overall a great spot to get back to nature

Simmos Beach
A great place of natural beauty in the middle of suburbia. We did the circuit track which is a fairly easy grade and well signposted, with fantastic views of the river and the grey gums shedding their bark revealing shades of orange and cream. Saw a family of rock warblers flitting in the bush.

Nice place for bush walks but not for swimming as the water is contaminated, no idea why people would swim here, also dogs need to be on a leash to swim, it’s not off leash. There are bbq and seats so it’s nice for a bbq. Also lots of birds and wildlife

Great place if you’re local. Nice to come and walk your dog. Small play set for kids and and barbecue area.

A definite must place to take the kids and cool off. Has a great playground area, bbq & picnic tables, toilets and plenty of parking. Swimming is great for the litter ones too as it has a long stretch of shallow areas. It does have a steep stairway to get down to the beach" but wide and stable with rails. Good trails to walk around and explore. Great family day out. Dont be put off the brown colour of the water... its actually clear and clean"

It's a lovely hidden gem.The water is murky but ok to swim in.The river has a sandy bottom to walk on. There are some deeper parts so keep an eye on kids, but there are sections where the water is shallow most of the way out and young kids can stand in.Picnic facilities in good condition, there are toilets available however I didn't view inside.The only disappointing thing was the odd bit of rubbish on the beach but not a lot.
