Macquarie Place Park
Nice leafy park close to circular quay with nice outdoor / indoor pub nearby. Great for catching up with friends while kids are playing in the park.

Little spot in the heart of Sydney packed with points of interest. One that many people don't know about is the 'Distance of Your Heart' art installation. It's 60 bronze birds perched along Bridge Street. It's quite an adventure to find them! 12 are in the park, as well as the bench with the name of the installation. You'll also find Macquarie's obelisk, the original measuring point for Sydney (notice the measurements are in miles!).And a cannon and anchor from the Sirius, flagship of the First Fleet. There's an original well keep the pavement dry!" and if you look at the NE corner

Nice area within walking distance to Circular Quay. Starting point for the Great Northern Walk on Sydney. Photo of Obelisk marker lists distances from Sydney to various historic sites in NSW.

Macquarie Place Park
Nice amount of park space and a lot of paths to walk through. The interior is very forested. Very nice for picking, play with a ball with your kids, going for a run, and also the best of all I like is going on your bike on the track. Very good for exercising.

Nice little park in the middle of the cbd to kick back and relax. Not a lot of greenery but a decent amount of open space.
