Ern Holmes Oval
With recent works (construction to build concrete pathways and fencing around main oval) there is not much parking, with areas of the carpatk blocked by piles of earth or construction materials, especially in peak Saturday sport times.Public toilets are always open.Good facilities for multi sports cricket & little athletics in the summer and AFL / Soccer in the winter. Not an all weather synthetic surface so prone to closing after periods of heavy rain. Grassed ovals are well maintained.

I remember going there with my school AGHS and having lots of fun playing wood crick, Natball and soccer. It was really fun. I remember play for thornleigh netball team there

Good AFL ground. But gets veerrrryy cold if it's an afternoon game....bring all your warm gear....blankets. ..beanies. .gloves....

Great spot with a popular walking track and a reasonable amount of parking on the surrounding streets. Includes numerous benches for sitting and enjoying the view.

Great all weather field, parking is better than it was but bigger crowds will require you parking at the netball area.

Ern Holmes Oval
There is not much parking, especially in peak Saturday sport times. The oval has a very rough and uneven surface. There is no running track marked for half the year. There are bathrooms here that are always unlocked but they are home to a colony of spiders and a lot of grafiti.
