Excellent dog (and surf) park. Most people are responsible dog owners, there's lots of room for the dogs to run and play.Because of how close it is to Bass Point Marine Reserve, you will occasionally see dolphins and other wildlife from the shore.

The best place to take your dog's it is a great big off leash area I have come across. If you have a Dog that's the place to go check it out next time you take your dog's out. I am sure you will love it.

Great big area for off leash dog exercise. No fences, direct entry to ocean, crushed black rock gravel & grass. Parking available during quieter periods. Please watch & control your dog. Area also used by walkers & families with small children.

We absolutely love this park along the ocean. We are so entertained by the dogs, seeing how happy they are all are running free. They get so excited here in this huge park..its very relaxing to watch and often gives us a good giggle! We just love it here...and we dont even have a dog!!! Great place for people to stroll along the beach as well.

The Shallows Coastal Reserve
Great little beach for dogs. Lots of parking and easily accessible. There's plenty of rocks beside to water to sit on while your dogs run about. There's also a decent size grassy area too. My favourite place to take my three little dogs for an off leash sniff and run around. Highly recommend.

Irresponsible dog owners, zero control over their pets. Filthy, it seems that no one picks up after their dogs. Disappointing. We left and went to Kiama. Much nicer experience.

Nice place for the dogs to have a run about and generally clean off doggy waste (mostly!). Most visitors with dogs were cautious of their dogs and their friendliness radar so were kept on leashes. Would be great for the dogs in the summer time as they have the sea sand and grass...
