McQuade Park
McQuade Park was used as a base station for a sand packing operation to help with the recent floods in the area. Several tonnes of sand was delivered to one end of the park.Sand was packed by volunteers from Back to the Bush and the 4WD community. It was then delivered out to the wider community in need.

The dawn service was amazing. More and more people turn up each year, supporting our soldiers that fought and died for us, to give us our beautiful country Australia, Lest we Forget.

Nice kids play area, needs walking paths to line up with footpaths, good shelter, sad about homeless living in grandstand

McQuade Park ~ 361 George St, Windsor NSW,McQuade Park is a heritage-listed park and sporting venue, in the City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. The park was set aside by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1810, first surveyed by James Meehan in 1811, and re-surveyed and significantly expanded by G. B. White in 1827.It is also known as The Great Square, Church Green and Windsor Park. The property is owned by Hawkesbury City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 14 January 2011.McQuade Park occupies an irregular pentagon. The east and south sides of Macquarie's original rectangular Great Square are still part of the park, along most of the frontage to Tebbutt Street and part of the frontage to George Street. The western side of the park is bounded by Hawkesbury Valley Way (known as Richmond Road until 2009). The two northerly sides of the park are bounded by the dog-leg of Moses Street.

Pitch was a tad green and a bit up and down. Lots of rough outside the left handler's off stump for the budding off spinner. Hard work to start batting but with the ability to cash in once an innings has been established.

Lovely well maintained park with lake and water feature, and an island often used for weddings.
