A great public park to excercise, walk or cycle. The tall trees provide good shade. There is a small children play ground and cricket oval.

Top notch, well maintained park. Run the kids, the dogs or the frisbees. Immaculate facilities for just a jog around or a family picnic. There's no doubt this is a well loved park and destination point for Newcastle and surrounding suburbs. Nice work NCC.

Jesmond Park is a beautiful recreation area with walking and bike tracts. It is equipped with all modern facilities like free car park (limited), picnic area, BBQ area, lots of bench and public toilet. It has nicely shaped landscape gardening with different varieties of rose as well as many colourful seasonal flowers. It has lovely green playground area. Plenty of shades and children playground. Suitable for morning and evening walk. Wedding ceremony, family and birthday parties are common here.

Great park with two playground areas, bike paths, BBQs, picnic tables, bubblers, lots of shaded areas, soccer field, and even Frisbee golf.Backs onto a bike track that runs up to the John Hunter hospital, across to Lambton, and into Jesmond.

One of the best parks in the local area. Extremely well maintained and picturesque. It's one of the only parks that actually is a park for everybody of all ages. There's 2 kids playgrounds, a football/soccer field, a basketball court, biking/walking paths lined with trees, countless grassy areas with picnic tables and lots of sitting benches underneath trees. What makes it such a great park is everything is well planned out. Lots of areas are very spaced out so if you want a quiet place to read or have lunch there's many areas to choose from that are far from the main facilities. You can really tell how much effort the staff put into maintaining this park.

Beautifully well kept park! I love the many swings here at the playground and the roses in the garden. Frisbee bins, bike paths and lots of trees, it’s a tranquil park where you don’t even really notice that it’s right next to the main road.
