Clean and well laid out. They have increased the types of recyclable materials you can drop off for free. Just need a soft plastics solution as red cycle isn't around any more.

I had a small amount of asbestos (1.28kg) and thought I was doing the right taking it to the tip, double wrapped in plastic and about a 2 metre garbage bag. About 20km out of my way and was disgusted to be charged $32. Some incentive, About size of a large football, I could have passed it to the river.

The only thing that could make our visit better is the CCCouncil could at least fix the holes on the main road.The people at Buttonderry Waste Management could not have more helpful. Gave advice about styrene packing and empty or near empty paint tubs.

best tip ever. you can't even tell it's a tip, it's so clean, tidy, and organised. everyone i have ever interacted with here over a decade have been incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 (especially if you've ever been to the tip at awaba - that tip is an actual filthy dump) best tip ever!

Other reviews complain about expensive fees for recycling, yet recycling of many items is FREE, but only if you separate like for like - not difficult. Besides, prices are largely dictated by the EPA.I've never found the tip to be closed. Personally I think they do a great job and they truly care for the environment.If you live in the Wyong/Gosford area, make use of your six free curbside collections for the heavy items, and take lighter items to the tip. Saves money :)

Had the most pleasant experience during my brief adventure to the Buttonderry tip! The staff are super dooper friendly and it's easy to navigate the place and figure it all out. If I could give it 4 and a half stars I would, only because it was a tad pricey in my opinion, but if it's a once-in-a-blue-moon trip then I guess it's okay :))

Never thought I'd leave a review for a tip but this was such a nice experience. Just needed to get rid of some household waste, and the staff were really friendly and very helpful. Disposing was extremely easy and efficient. The place was so clean, it didn't look like a tip in the slightest. I was greeted by everyone, asked how I was and was given very good directions and information. Finished in under 10 minutes, cost me $26 for a car load. Great experience.

Monday 29th May, Googled waste disposal, found Buttonderry, clicked on the site, closing time listed as 5pmh. Arrived at 4:20pm, closed. Went home very unhappy, looked up the site again, closing time 5pmh. Not happy.

Not what I’d expected or was used to from rubbish tips. Clean, friendly service and well thought out operations. Costs are reasonable and the process is almost painless.
