Bankstown Golf Club

Golf course in great condition even with some rain. Nice restaurant.

My friends and I came here as we are members of a nearby golf club and are considering joining/switching to here. The course is great but the restaurant and service really let the whole experience down. We had ordered food and I always bring my own tea (dietary requirement) so I asked for some hot water for my tea and the lady requested $3 for it and stood waiting to be paid first before getting the water in case I didn’t pay. I understand that costs are increasing for businesses and I don’t mind paying $0.50 for sauces for the chips but charging $3 for just hot water, while being a paying customer and have purchased food for the table is just not reasonable at all. This has happened twice now as the first time I thought could have been a mistake. The unreasonableness of this whole ordeal (not due to the money but the sheer principle behind it and the lack of service orientation) has completely turned my friends and I off this club. We won’t be coming back until something changes with the management of this restaurant.

Don’t want to throw names out there, But I will today! My brother Wayne Riley “Radar” always raved about Bankstown golf club’ as he played most of his junior golf there. I have been playing Bankstown a few times of late and wow the course is in great condition! It’s a real credit to all the ground staff for their efforts. Beautiful lay out “ Well done Bankstown.

Good course to play. Looks beautiful in overcast weather. A lot of trees make a game bit difficult a bit.Pro shop there is a chance of improvement in customer service.

Stop the bus here! After a succulent Chinese meal at Sefton playhouse with my great aunt, we proceeded to stroke our stiff shafts around Banksy GC with some friendly local members.Course is in great knick, top 5 in Western Sydney.

What a great suburban golf course! The course was in beautiful condition, notwithstanding some parts under minor repair. Most impressive were the greens. They were fast and true. I look forward to playing the course again.

Great golf course.The course was in fantastic condition in Feb. 2019.Last played this course 10 years ago and I remember it being great then as well.

The course was in very good condition, despite recent heavy rains!The pro-shop staff were helpful, and I look forward to getting back for a round soon.

This golf course has a high performance-to-price ratio. It's just that it's easy to miss the entrance on the way.
