The tree here is massive. And if you are fearless, you can climb up the step ladder" to the top. Let's be honest

I climbed the Gloucester tree and the memory will be with me forever. Whole lot easier going up than coming down again. The surrounding park and walk trails are well worth spending some time exploring.

We were here for the Gloucester Tree, but actually we really enjoyed the trail stretching out from the area as well! There were numerous wildflowers in September.

Majestic trees all through this area with great examples on the walks. It's hard to comprehend their height - over 50m tall.

The Gloucester National Park and the surrounding parks are an amazing place to go exploring. The maps that the registration office give you are invaluable. $13 for a day is a steal for what you can explore with a little walking.I recommend the various walks in and around the Gloucester tree. All the trees link up with walking trails of various length.

Pay to enter $21 national park entry per adult valid for full day.Beautiful area to walk about and the Gloucester tree is spectacular! Only climb if you're not scared of heights! Also the ladder is slippery when wet.
