Fitzgerald River National Park
Great for a day out with the family. Bbq facilities are a bonus. If you're handy with a 4x4 you can spend the day exploring all the tracks and beaches around the area

Fitzgerald River National Park
Hamersley inlet in Fitzgerald River National Park visited 26 Sept 2021. Facilities are good and all bitumen road is all weather.End of the bitumen road just past the Hamersley inlet turn off.

A beautiful national park where the mountains meet the rugged coast and Inlet. Spectacular royal hakea endemic to the area and plenty of wildlife. Stunning vistas.

Great places to explore, could really spend about a week exploring this national park. Some of the dirt roads are extremely corrugated, so make sure you let some air out of your tyres and drive to the conditions.

Fitzgerald River National Park
Nice for a hike and not to far from Hopetoun. Just when u think u have reached the end there's always a way to go higher. I had ended up sitting at about 2 km up on the mountain balencing some rocks as an art of zen. I had slipped a coupple of times but overall I 100% recommend going there for a day out.

Spectacular views and also two excellent campgrounds reasonably priced. The campgrounds have good facilities with toilets and showers available. Also great walking tracks well sign posted. Definitely worth a visit as it is not well publicised Australia wide and is one of our hidden gems

Beautifully kept national park. Bitumen roads to most walks, campgrounds and lookouts. Fantastic climb up Mount Barrens with stunning view (even in overcast weather). Kids loved the rock climbing section and the little caves and crevices. Amazing landscape with flowers everywhere. We even spotted the face of Mother Nature enjoying the view.

Awesome Park!!Eastern section is in much better condition for visitors than the west.The western side has some serious corrugation on the roads and road signs are sometimes non-existent making travel more fun. Enjoy the fact that it's still this way.

Fantastic park with gorgeous flora and stunning views. Has a variety of campgrounds and day use areas with great lookouts. Plenty of trails from ready to hard.

Overwhelming park. What I noticed about it was the high level of diversity present. For example, we often experience crows everywhere in suburban areas. In the Fitzgerald Park we saw only two crows fly over now and then. Same with pigeons, and there were a single paired couple of Kookaburras. The list goes on. A large species count but with little of each. Spectacular diversity. The only bird species there were a few more of were New Holland Honey eaters.
