Do NOT study at CQU go to QUT elsewhere anywhere but CQU or other uni. Lecturers put in no time explaining or bare minimum on what is expected with assessment pieces. they have little regard for teaching and care more about research. Also the quality of the material they teach after being out in industry and working is a joke and definitely what they teach is far from what is applied in real world. I was given 2 of 20 marks because the lecturer did not like my flow chart format for code. when all his requirements were on the assessment criteria explanation was Graphical representation of code" no explanation or examples set out as to what was expected. The effort put in does not equate to their expectation of what they get out of students. their expectation is not even well crafted due to their lack of effort in forming course structures and assessment pieces. This uni has been a nightmare to study at. The staff are rude and incompetent. I have a GPA of 6. but since I have started calling out lecturers on their general disregard for students my marks have started to decline. Funny that

Hi,My score is overall 6.0 in IELTS & in two modules it's 5.5 nd in other two modules it's 6.0. Can i apply for masters in information technology on this score? One more question is Rockhampton a regional area?

Australia should be shameful to have a university like cqu. I can't believe they take more than 1 or 2 months for the GTE step and months for the coe. OH MY GOD, I am so angry that I am not even applying to Australia now. This university feels worse than any university in a third-world country.They don't even bother to answer your call even if you call them 100s of time. They don't answer your email and texts.They ask for a document and get lost for a few weeks and ask for another document, and the process continues for a 1,2,3 or even more months.

Application 5781376# I am highly disappointed by the admission committee of the University as they rejected my application based on the fact that I studied online. This is given the fact that many students had no other option but to study online in this era of covid 19. I would request all the students to simply disregard this university when considering the option of further studies as they have simply no realization of the students circumstances, instead they have their rules based on pathetic non-realistic approach, extremely saddened by the decision, I will definitely ensure to keep spreading this message during my entire life to save the future of the students

Cq university need hire new talanted punctual and responsible staff because coe department is worthless.

Worst University i ever seen in my life like they keep my file on hold since last October and continuesly asking for documents and i go on provide them all but after waste my this much time they told me that the account i have shown now are discarded because this is the same account we have shown at my brother time who was in Australia since 2020 like seriously? Please don't ruin your time and future for this university
