Wildlife Habitat

Had a wonderful time at the wildlife habitat. So many birds and things to see. Fantastic experience. 10/10

A great place with a lot of different animals.A great design where you feel you are really close to the animals.You experience the place on many levels with the towers and the bird view path.A very close encounter with the kangaroos and emus.Very nice experience especially in the afternoon with few visitors.The signs for accessibility are not very clear. Therefore, we had to come back all the way around because the elderly who was with us couldn't come down on the other side of the nocturnal space.Overall, friendly staff and a great place to visit in Port Douglas.

Visit. Just visit. Dont think about it. What are you waiting for??? Dump your stuff at your accommodation and then go visit Wildlife Habitat. Bring the kids. Bring ANY age. Grab strangers, even, they will LOVE it (no, joking, dont really accost / kidnap strangers!!). The grounds, the staff, the residents, all amazing. Éven in the steamy hot months at Port Douglas, we had a truly magical experience and so so so much fun at the Habitat.

Soooo much fun for the whole family! If you are looking for a respectful wildlife park, this is the place for you. They care for their animals and the staff is super friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do for a half-day excursion. This is the place where you can have a photo with a koala and a crocodile. ;)

We went on the word our daughter could hold a koala for a picture. But I loved it for the impressive amounts of bio diversity and their dedication to helping the animals. Loved it.

Feeding kangaroos and joeys is always fun. So many friendly birds( watch your earings) and crocs to look at. You can learn a lot about aussie animals here

Wildlife Habitat is a must visit! Lots of animals to see and talks to go to. Definitely recommend Swimming with the Salties!! A once in a lifetime experience to see a croc so close - even inside it’s mouth!! Something I’ll remember forever. 5 day entry pass means nothing is missed out on! Staff are super lovely - must be a great place to work!

Wonderful time here. Looking at all the wildlife and birds. Loved the croc show. Well worth a visit and learning about our rain forest friends. Kids and Adults alike would love this adventure. Cafe on site for lunch or snack.
