Toowoomba Waterbird Habitat
The area is so covered with too many birds. There is something that needs to be done. The smell is awful saw a dead bird in lake. The area needs improving if they want people to picnic there.

A good place to visit a watch the birds while you gather thoughts. It was very peaceful listening to the bird calls. I did see some egrets mixed in. I was lucky enough to see some baby Eurasian Coots. There are also an assortment of ducks.It did feels like that there were a few too many ibis.

The ibis breed on the island here, and you can see some other nice birds too. There’s a short, well made path that is an easy walk.

More ibises than I expected! Parking could be more obvious. Very well maintained, clearly cared for. Nice, out of the way location.
