Stapleton Park on the left side of the Old Bridge, North Rockhampton often hosts travelling Fairs and attractions, I recommend it for the kids

Always a great place to take the kids and all the that use the park are very friendly and helpful to smaller kids.

Not much here in terms of playground equipment for young kids. There is however a skatepark directly adjacent to the park. PCYC North Rockhampton is also in the area as well. The is a great little practise area for kids to learn road rules here as well. Kids can ride there bike on a scaled down road complete with intersections with stop signs and giveaway signs.The park also is home to a traveling carnival on the school holidays.

Visited THE BROUGH CHAMBERS which was originally erected 1885 and restored by Rockhampton City Council 1985The volunteers and the history in the building is amazingWorth a visit

Central location. Covered seating. PCYC, skatepark and kids mini road for familiarisation/training practice. Has circus and other events from time to time.

We went for the family carnival, my grand babies loved it. Very pricey, didn't take long to over spend.
