Every 2nd month this year they have scarified greens...

Really liked the course, played three different days. Every day held up by kids and adults playing in large groups of 6 & 8. Others we met on the course were disappointed as well. Asked the pro about it, not much care there. Same last year, we won’t be playing there again.

The golf course is great for a challenge and the head pro is very helpful with wonderful facilities including state of the art simulation. However since the course has undergone new management popularity has dropped significantly due to the very ignorant attitude especially after forcing everyone to change there way of paying membership. Countless people have voiced there opinions however they have fallen on deaf ears that are not interested in peoples opinions. Bar staff are all great, and new lunch menus are great. The course has undertaken alot of upgrading which is great however people are still expected to pay the high priced membership with no benefit. Unfortunately alot of members have left and moved to other courses due to this my way or the highway" attitude. I give 3 stars because of this."

Great customer service and brews!

One of the nicest courses I've played. Green staff should be paid more. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Bunkers were all under repair the day I played which highlights how well maintained the course is.

Go have lunch in the club house...quick, tasty and cheaper than the fast food chains.

I am writing my review based on venue hire for my wedding. I cannot recommend the Rockhampton Golf Club enough! Karen is spectacular and the help she provided to us leading up to the day was second to none, i owe her a great debt of gratitude for assisting us with not only the venue hire but providing assistance with the time-frame of the day and the menu. We had our ceremony on the launch pad overlooking the dam and the reception in the courtyard. The area is absolutely divine, it's the most peaceful, beautiful spot and the photos turned out so well. There is loads of space to roam for photos with different backdrops only a minutes walk away. Food and drink was all provided by the Club and everything was to a very high standard, we also found it very affordable for the number of guests (approx 77 that turned up!). Thank you again to Karen for everything, we are about to celebrate 1 year happily married.
