Pine Island Reserve

lovely spot for a dip on a hot day, provided the river is not in flood or too dry. U can walk past the main entry beach 50m more to a large island for more spots and privacy.

Such a picturesque well manicured park.A very large area from the south to the north car park housing picnic tables, toilets, small playground, kangaroos, swimming areas and plenty of parking.

Beautiful park close to tuggeranong town centre. Lots of picnic tables, a few bbqs, public toilets and a playground. Also has a gorgeous little river beach with fun rocks to walk on. The beach area is not wheelchair accessible but the picnic tables might be if the wheelchair can easily navigate grass. Such a tranquil place with lots of shade and sunny spots. Highly recommended. Apparently can walk to point hut but I did not attempt this :)

Will recommend the trek from Pune Island Reserve to Point Hot Crossing. We saw an echidna on the way.

Great for an easy trail walk in the morning or afternoon. Varying landscape and the river will keep you company all the way. Open to your senses, take your time, and don’t fall asleep to the ‘A to B’ paradigm

Very nice place, easy walks, easy access to the river, several barbecues and restrooms. Lots of tables for picnic. Lots of wildlife, kangaroos and several birds. It doesn't have drinking water and garbage bins. Please take your rubbish with you, it's sad to see people leaving rubbish behind, specially near the river.

Lots of BBQ's and tables. Toilets and a path that was pram friendly, although lots of other great little trails that were great for bigger kids. Beach area is good but only stairs down to it, would be nice for swimming in the summer months... watch out for snakes!!

It's a perfect spot to have a family day picnic and s swim out South Point or a bit of fishing on the rocks.

Great place for a walk, picnic, BBQ & swim. A place to see some local wildlife(wombat & kangaroo, snakes & spiders in the summer). Be very careful in the water & on land.
