Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary
One of the closer Mulligans Flat entry points, car park with one disabled parking spot and small playground (suited for older children).The pathway is close to the entry gates beware there is an electric fence to the right which is sign posted.Signage throughout the walk aswell as the beginning to help self guide where you’d like to go, we went to the closest pond then took a shortcut around the back of the pond on a different trail back to the gate. The trail goes much further.Would recommend this trail

A fully fenced off nature reserve where the animals seem to not be bothered at all by human presence. What the team of volunteers and long-term planners are doing here seems to be a world class effort in conservation. An inspiring place.

Mostly just a bunch of mushrooms after the rain, some backyard birds and occasional kangaroo/ wallaby/rabbit.Mood when seeing an echidna or rare animal on the road: Just another random animal pfft...Mood at Mulligan's Flat: Omg it's just like being on safari! Look at all those exotic animals! Much adventure!! Look at that kangaroo!!! Must be rare and endangered! *Click click click click*. I need to upload that magpie pic on Insta!!Edit: went again today and spotted an echidna! The Instagram pics are from my second visit.

Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary
A fantastic nature reserve which comes with a huge array of native animal and plant life on display. It’s also a great place for walkers to enjoy its many walking paths. There is a wool shed information centre which you can walk into and read the information panels about the sanctuary. You can spot wild kangaroos here!!!

Wow! Open 24 hours, kangaroos and other animals abound, beautiful walks and lots of audio education. The hidden Geocaches kept me entertained and my 45 minute walk nearly turned into 2 hours! I'll be taking a twilight tour next.

Nice series of trails on the flat. We encountered some kangaroos and echidnae on the walk. During the hot days, it is best to go early or late arvo to avoid the scorching sun. The outside gate was closed but there is a little opening you can just go through.

Awesome twilight tour at the sanctuary! Our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate about the conservation efforts at Mulligan's Flat. Learned so much about Australian flora/fauna, and saw a Bettong for the very first time! Also lucked out and saw a quick glimpse of a quoll in the wild. It's a unique experience to see the wildlife in their natural habitat and at the time that they're most active. Would highly recommend joining the tour!

Great place to walk around, plenty of wildlife and trails to follow. Bring a water bottle and walk around the nature reserve. Different areas to walk through and also devided up so one can park close to the entry points. The Woodland (bikes allowed), Wetland & Sky walk.
