Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
How fun and lovely to see so many people utilising it. From mums with prams to bird watching enthusiasts, it has something for everyone. Great even if you just want some exercise. It was lovely to see a family of kangaroos hop by too.

Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
Canberra is lucky to have such a beautiful wetlands park so close to the city. I suggest a hat and sunscreen for your visit as only short sections of the walks are shaded. Bicycles aren't allowed on all sections of the signposted walks. However, you can cycle to Kingston Foreshore from there.

Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
A fantastic place for a walk along the dedicated tracks. A few cycling and walking routes, with lots of wildlife throughout. Particularly great for bird watching, with dedicated bird hides throughout the wetlands, and there's lots of kangaroos in the open grassland area too. It's definitely an area with snakes so caution is advised. The circular loop took about 45 minutes for the route we took.

Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
Visited during winter so everything was pretty dry. I mostly saw ducks but did see a young kite (I think, I wasn't very close). The viewing rooms along the pond are a good idea and allow you to see the wildlife a bit better. A good place for a short walk and there's no stairs about so it's disabled accessible.

Nice place for an easy walk. There are 3 walking tracks which take about 30 min each.Lots of birds and kangaroos, very peaceful in the morning. It can be beautifully misty!

Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
Fantastic place for a walk, with bird watching hutches around the pond. A number of different walking trails of different length. The Sully circuit is the shortest about 1.5 km, easy walk. No dogs allowed and no bathrooms.

A nice tranquil place to stroll around and to watch wildlife. The toilet was locked when I visited on a Saturday.

This is truly a hidden gem in Canberra! I'll sure return when the weather is warmer. Bring your gloves and scarfs if you are visiting in Winter.
