Amazing park. 7 km around the lake. there are bike paths. Lots of playgrounds for children. beautiful place. there is a place to barbecue. many tables and benches. The diversity of birds on the lake is surprising. communication with nature pacifies. you can go boating and canoeing

John Knight Memorial Park
It's nicely spread over a large area on the lake. There is a couple of ponds and a little creek flowing - this is irresistible to most kids, so bring spare clothes if you come with kids. There are two playgrounds, one for older kids and one for smaller kids, a flying fox, and some sports equipment. All is well maintained but still shows the age. There are several picnic tables, and the trees create partial shade.

A gorgeous escape from the hustle and bustle. This park is one of the most popular in Belconnen .. visit the snake house playground plus another fun play area, flying fox, exercise stations, a disc golf course, refill bottle water stations, public toilets, multiple BBQs and picnic tables, and places to stroll and feed the ducks (not bread though please) Walking around the lake on the convenient pathways is a wonderful way to enjoy the fresh air and see what Canberra is all about. Families coming together to enjoy the outdoors and nature and having a great time.

John Knight Memorial Park
John Knight is a great place for walking, cycling, relaxing, picnics and for getting exercise. It is Belconnen’s “lungs” and has much green open space. Take a walk along the many paths that wind through the park. I suggest looking for the wonderful water features which include streams, rock pools, waterfalls and fountains.

A good place for jog, run, cycling and BBQ. Enjoyed the walk with friends.Good water view and a nice play space for children.

Lots of space and shades for outdoor gathering or jogging around the lake.Free 3 hour parking and car park can be quickly full in summer.BBQ, sheltered tables and benches, play grounds.Toilets and water fountains available.
