Fairwork & ASIC have been contacted yet again to investigate the activities of this Chinese owned company and take steps to ensure that the owner, currently hiding out in China, complies with Australian Law. Van, the person currently engaging in unlawful conduct towards staff on beheld of the owner does not: pay the wages norpay superannuation. The owners also engage in adverse dismissal and other such unlawful activities including forcing a minor child into writing out a contractual obligation to pay $100 cash to the owner for the shortfall in a till with never once showing any evidence that the till was short or that the shortfall happened at the time the minor child was on the till.Van, you have until close of business 9th March 2023 to pay the ex staff member the wages owed otherwise an application will be made in the Employers tribunal against For Young Synergy P/l for unpaid wages, unpaid superannuation and adverse termination and further to that ASIC will be directed to determine if this business is in fact insolvent and should be wound up. A complaint will also be made to Metcash and breaches of your franchise agreement.

An IGA with reasonable amount variety of goods. It has ready made meals and things useful people living the apartment metro lifestyle.

I'm not sure if it's the new owners still getting a custom to how things work or if they just completely sell out of everything regularly, but they always seem to be very low on stock with bare shelves.IGA City East is the best option if you can't find your shopping at Gilbert St.

A little on the expensive side but a decent selection of food and one of the only options in that location since Coles is closed in Chinatown

This store used to be really great but seemingly changed ownership a while back. Since it has gone downhill. The store is filthy (both inside and around the side). It's common to see the shelves poorly stocked. The lunchtime food options used to be great - cold rolls, delicious burgers, made to order food. Now you roll the dice on whether the chicken burger will actually be hot. Not worth going.

The store is clean, well-lit and has clear signage throughout. Had everything I needed.

Super friendly staff member on this morning when I dropped in!Not a massive range, but the shop is modern and lovely, and the staff are super helpful.

The team have great customer service - special mention to both Hannah and Ryan who work the night shifts. These two staff members are always working hard, even when it's late and aren't any customers in the store, in addtion they are both always very pleasant. Will keep coming back

Great local supermarket with a good range of items. Open hours that are generally busy person friendly. Prices are a bit more than the big chains, but convenience is worth it

A sad excuse of an IGA. Shelves are always empty, a mess or both. Cleanliness is concerning, prices aren’t great.
