Picture Hire Australia is Adelaide's premier rental company specialising in camera hire and other production equipment for TV, film, video and stills. Friendly staff that are keen to help with tech issues.

Our in-house video production team has been hiring video, audio and lighting equipment from Picture Hire for well over a decade now. The PH team are the epitome of professional and come with sound knowledge of the equipment that they hire out. The equipment PH have on offer is varied, suits a variety of budgets and the kits and gear are kept in great condition. We will continue to hire from Picture Hire and can certainly recommend others do the same.

Was down in Adelaide and needed a camera for the day to film a presentation and didnt know where to go so jumped on google and found Picture Hire. The reviews all looked good and they were pretty close so I rang them to see what I could get at a reasonable price. The crew there were very helpful and explained what I could do. I rented a Sony camera for the day and it was perfect for what I needed. Will use them again when Im in Adelaide and the need arises for sure. #Letsguide #adelaide #camerahire

Really disappointing customer service!!! It seems the owner Dave had double booked the equipment I had picked up and paid for, to another client and when the other client was clearly unhappy he didn't receive what he was promised, Dave gave out my personal contact details and whereabouts to this complete stranger without my consent. I was completely bombarded with calls, facetimes and messages from this unknown number while I was shooting and felt immense pressure to return the equipment that I had every right to use, as it was all paid for. I didn't even make a fuss or complain. The worst part is when I went in the next morning to return the equipment, Dave aggressively told me off for being '20 minutes late' and spoke down to me like I was in the wrong. It was extremely uncomfortable and confrontational. Dave you are running a business, if you feel pressure from a client to provide what you've promised, it is in no way okay to aggressively speak to another customer who has given you their money. Totally horrible service, incredibly disappointing behaviour.

Needed a DSLR and long lens for a job at virtually no notice. Really nice guys, super-efficient service, thanks again and see you next trip
