Nangar National Park
Great part of the world!. Worth the climb for the view..Small cars wouldn't be recommended that they would make it all the way to the top but a people mover should make it to the top just fine on a dry day Id say not to go after alot of rain unless equipped for deep water as there's a few areas that could be hairy.. but on a dry day 2/5 -3/5 grade 4x4 track can take a trailer but watch out for inexperienced 4wders in the area. Campsites look great and plenty of bushwalks. Only 1 4wd track a available and due to not being that hard some may be a bit disappointed but it is a national park not state forest and is well maintained and conserved.Toilet at one campsite no showers

Interesting rock face, although it was very dry and hot when we were there... No dripping unfortunately. Worthwhile driving on (4wd only) to top of mountain for spectacular views

Another trip to the top. Road was wet and slippery but still worth the rugged drive.

This is a great place to visit. It has some great views and lots of history and wildlife but the track to the top is quite rough. there are toilets at the campground and a few viewing platforms like the one at dripping rockAll in all i loved the place and would recommend camping there. There is a video i made on my Youtube channel

It’s closed. I believe it’s been closed for a year now. What’s going on?

Worth a visit. Such a beautiful part of Australia and well serviced by NSWNP. Easy access by car, nice walks and excellent campground and picnic area.

Nangar National Park
Beautiful national park, just beware that the roads are often fire trails, so some low vehicles need to go very slowly. It is absolutely gorgeous in spring, particularly after the rains, the green hills and wildflowers are unbelievable! It was very striking red dirt too, the Nangar Lookout walk is highly recommended, but I would also love to take advantage of the camping grounds and picnic areas too.
