Early Settler West Gosford

I don't know why this is coming up 5 stars...I only give it 2 stars! One for the lady, one because it is a beautiful chair... Now it's repaired!Lovely lady in shop. Kind & helpful. Thankyou Loretta.However, the lovely $400 velvet chair I brought home was broken & it took 5 weeks of phone calls from me to get the replacement from a store only 1 hr away (that was out of the sales assistants hands) Attitude from regional manager was that they were doing ME the favour!I definitely won't ever shop there again(Yet another store got a sofa transferred from interstate for me within 4 days!!!)

If it weren't for Loretta, I would be giving this shop 1 star.Furniture delayed 3 times, charged incorrectly, and wrong sofa ordered from the warehouse. Luckily for us, we had a very lovely sales assistant, Loretta, who helped us out immensely, and arranged some compensation for the mess around.Early settler need to pick up their game when it concerns contacting their customers and keeping them up to date with delivery changes etc.

4 years ago I walked into one of the Early Settler stores in Sydney ready to buy about $15,000 worth of furniture for my new home and was ignored like other reviewers have reported. Last week, I was ready to give Early Settler another go as I have just purchased a new home and wanted to update all my furniture so went to one of the stores.DISAPPOINTED again. I was shown the Lizette lounge and was told a limited edition colour was in transit into the country (Peacock Green Velvet). I was shown the images and was excited about this item and decided this is the one I wanted.I called up yesterday to follow up and ask when they will be receiving this lounge into stock and I was told they have sold out.Grrrrrrrrrr. At no time was I told that there was only 10 lounges and they were being sold sight unseen" as the lady from Artarmon described it.Why advertise this lounge in all your brochures when you only have 10 available. They really know how to disappoint and provide bad customer service. 5 stars for that.I been advised that OZ Design have a similar lounge

Extremely disappointed and upset regarding delivery of furniture. Waiting up to 5 months for furniture with full payment! When at time of purchase was told it would arrive in two weeks, then after following up with them myself when nothing arrived was advised of a delay. Which then kept getting pushed further and further back.No apology or compensation for the 5 month wait on a fully paid for item.The only consistency from this company is the extreme wait times, poor warehouse delivery and organisation.

I was very disappointed when I visited Early Settler today.Firstly, I went to the West Gosford store to order some dining chairs which I had seen previously. I went around the store 3 times, then waited near the 'Service' desk. No staff acknowledged me, or offered any kind of customer service.Secondly , the shop was a shambles. It used to be presented so beautifully. There was not one area in the store that was appealing. The visual merchandising is non existent.After 35 minutes I left the store and went into Oz Design.I was met at the entrance by a smiling staff member offering me help. The shop was a visual feast. I found a very similar dining chair and they met your sale price so I happily ordered my chairs there, also spending more money on artwork and cushions.Pick up your game Early Settler!

Went in the store yesterday to buy some furniture. I was the only customer and there were two staff behind the front counter. I walked around the store and not a 'Hello'.Early Settler - when a customer come into your store, say hello at least. We drive to get to your store, at least give us some courtesy and your time to say hello, even if you don't want to help with a potential purchase.I ended up going to Nick Scali and Oz Design, which is close by and purchased furnitures from them.

Walked into the West Gosford store looking for outdoor lounges I walked the whole store twice no one approached me obviously they didn’t want the sale so I left it’s very sad to walk into a store and not be gritted or offered help poor customer service is what causes loss of sales impacting the staff employment and the future of the business obviously the manager or 2ic mustn’t care much about their customers I left very disappointed

This is the second time we visited the Gosford store and we enjoyed a nice experience twice. The staff was friendly and customer focussed, even when faced with a delayed truck which caused a backlog in unpacking their warehouse items. The girls in the store managed to get our stuff out while we were waiting even though they had a lot of boxes to get through. We will definitely come back here. Thanks!

Cameron fox was an absolute delight to deal with when purchasing the most phenomenal bed side table I have ever seen. His sales abilities are unmatched by anyone I’ve ever encountered in my life and he should be praised for his understanding and charismatic demeanour that he carries as he walks proudly throughout his kingdom of ‘early settler west Gosford.’ What a fine specimen of a man he is, oh so tall, oh so handsome. #blessup

Extremely beautiful furniture. The only thing I dislike is the extremely expensive delivery costs. Paying $90 to travel two kilometres is a rip off, so it's good to hire your own people.
