My experience with John Edwards. He showed no respect or regard. Deceitful & dismal failure to conduct himself in a professional manner. I'm updating my review as his response to my original review..simply blamed the landlord. Great work!John has an issue with my disability/wheelchair bound. Tells me to stop telling everyone I am in a wheelchair. My original review created a lot of trouble for him. Inclusive of a fine & loss of agency licence. No backpedalling on this one John. I had witnesses to this. When you stood over me red faced with anger in my dining room persecuting me..my son stood up physically to warn you off & resoectfully escort you to the door.John Edwards left me without hot water for 6 months over winter. Even after a vcat hearing ordering this urgent repair be fixed. I also have a vcat transcript of another vcat hearing where John Edwards tells the member I am intellectually challenged & cannot handle my own affairs or live on my own In this house. John Edwards told my landlord I painted the walls black I am an agessive person & it's best they not come in the house for inspection. John threatened me with eviction on a number of occasions & the last threat of eviction was after he had lost this property port folio & went insolvent. John demanded immediate deposit of funds into his account to save me from eviction, after he had lost this portfolio & then try to barter a lesser figure after I said no! He wished me luck with eviction & offered his services of another property.How is it that John Edwards can still be operating. In no shape or form should John's previous employers be persecuted for their excellent property management now with other agents.

We were so pleased with the service we received from John Edwards and his team at O'Brien Real Estate Drouin. His knowledge of the market and friendly demeanour made the selling of our house a pleasant experience. John is a very enthusiastic and passionate agent and was always available to help us. He kept us apprised of everything in the process. We wouldn't hesitate to engage him in any future sale. What started out to be the purchase of what could be our dream home quickly turned into the most unpleasant experience in my previous six real estate dealings. There has been a complete lack of professionalism from both agents, (one being the director of the business) listed on the sale and when follow up was requested for the 3rd time with no response the director then covered for the other agent and insinuated contact had been made.Unfortunately, after settlement things didn’t get any better, with commission now well and truly in the pockets of the not so professional director and listing agent whom had no contact through the sales process we’re still following up what is yet to be completed.It is interesting the majority of the feedback to this business that has been positive are of that of the employee’s, business owner and partners of the previously mentioned. Again this feedback is not isolated and shared with the vendor from the purchase. Perhaps, this is the reason why the buyer and seller shouldn’t be in the same room (they might just find out the truth). I will not be recommending this business to anyone and there is no chance they will be used if/when it comes time to sell.

Had the worst experience imaginable dealing with John Edwards from O'Brien at Drouin when buying my house. From day one he promised the world and delivered nothing. The vendor had not presented the property in a satisfactory condition at the final inspection. John promised that everything would be taken care of however once settlement was completed he blamed the vendor and stopped returning my calls. If you see the name John Edwards on a real estate advertisement, I would not go near the property if I were you.

In my 9 years experiance working in the real estate industry myself, i know how hard it is to find a good agent. Jayde you are amazing!
