Shin Sen Teppanyaki Restaurant
This restaurant is a little bit of a mixed bag. The staff are lovely including the young man that cooked our food. He was cracking jokes and gave us a fun teppanyaki experience. Not to be too judgmental, but you'd come here for the experience not the food. The food is just average, which is slightly irritating when you pay $70 per head.

My first Teppanyaki experience. It was very good. The chef was fun and friendly, and the lady working with him also did a lovely job helping out. The food was incredibly delicious and the chef had some activities throughout the courses. People caught eggs in bowls, we caught rice bowls which also did flips through the air.I had the most expensive option, the Goka(?) and it was certainly worth it. That scallop at the end was to die for, and my first time eating tsushimi, dip that in some soy with the salt and chilli salt(?) with a chunk of wasabi, wow wow wow! Also the dessert was delicious, I don't usually eat banana but it was cooked so fancy like I had to try it, and yum!Definitely worth checking this place out if its your first Tappenyaki experience or even if you're a Tappenyaki veteran.

Decent, not mind-blowing. Go for the lower range options as the higher end options were not really worth the spend.

Had dinner on Saturday 3rd September. The chef tried hard but there was only 1 other staff member in the restaurant. The dinner service ran very late. The poor chef had to finish up the earlier dinner service before being rushed to start our one. The service seemed rushed.The cost was over $250 for 4 guests.Wont be going back.

Had a blast!We booked for a birthday dinner and it didn’t disappoint.Great selection of food and catered for all tastes (kids, seafood, vegetarian etc.).The chef and servers were wonderful and very welcoming.
