Blackheath Glen Reserve
Great little free camp in the valley beneath blackheath town. Fire pits, toilets, fresh water, trees and plenty adventures within 2-5km. Perfect lil getaway for a 1-3 night stay.A few good tracks for walking and viewing nature, particularly birds.10min drive down the hill from town so all essentials are close by.A creek runs through and around the camp which I thought was super relaxing apart from the need to go for a wee more often than usual :)Wasn't that busy when we stopped in 2 weeks ago but I think there's a semi permanent camper with some continuous beat music going at night. It was a Saturday but gotta respect other campers.

Great camp site!! Had some legends playing some authentic Mongolian throat singing music which echoed beautifully through the valley

Perfect free campsite! Really enjoyed our stay at Blackheath Glen Reserve, would definitely recommend this place. I would advice to come before noon because lots of good spots will be taken otherwise.

Great free campsite in Blue mountains. There are about 7 or 8 spots depending how people park. Can fill up pretty quickly on weekends so don't come too late. Some tables and fire pits. And toilets. it's a small windy sealed road. But not a problem for any type of cars.

We arrived sunday night after sunset and were scared not to have space. We came with our trailer and roof tent. We parked on the side of a kind of roundabout. Make sure to come equipped. No drinking water and no water in toilets. You can wash dishes directly in river. Looked like a nice place. To acces you will be going down a mountain and wind through a road for about 12 mins. Don't be surprised. You are on the right road.

Blackheath Glen Reserve
Best camping site I've ever stayed in Australia. And yes, it's free. Just not really wide. Won't accommodate much more than 10 vehicles, at least till were I could see. Unfortunately didn't have much time to explore more around. The road to get there is really winding. Be cautious

Really nice spot for a night. You must arrive early as it gets really crowded and there are not many sites. Drop toilet ok.
