Great, fun and engaging way to learn how to effectively defend yourself. The instuctor Ben is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Kali can be for people at any fitness level or skill yet still technically and physically challenging. Thoroughly enjoying it and learning alot.

As a Filipino, I love working with sticks which have practical application to empty hands, boxing, etc. Guro Ben (Kali Silat North Perth) balances physical conditioning, discipline, encouragement, and practical application of real world self-defence that doesn’t require ridiculously flexibility and otherworldly athleticism (although that helps). The classes are run well and maintains a positive vibe without fail. We all keep learning and encouraging one another to grow in our skills/abilities as well as confidence.
