Why in this day and age post offices must close at 5 is beyond be, for the average working person we struggle to make it there, and with no weekend openings either. To make matters harder the ol dragon couple who run the shop breathe fire if you rock up at closing, never can bend the rules to lend a hand. If I could quit my job yo have all the time to make it to the post office, I would.There is no sense of community to be seen. Would love to see aus post help out its customers a bit, seeing as they charge through the roof and some of their staff definitely get paid above their wage worth.

Staff are all miserable, can't even get a hello and feel like a burden asking for help

This post office is stuck in the 1960s with its strict 9-5 opening hours and no weekend hours. People who work fulltime (which is most people) can’t even pick up a package.

The service staff who was of an Australian decent at the last counter was extremely discourteous when I was in the PO at 1pm on the 24 October. She was definitely not customer friendly and had very little patience for someone who was new to this post office and it's products and processes.

Avoid busy times as the wait can be long, but helpful and friendly staff.

I come here frequently and not once have been treated kindly I find the staff very rude even though I have always come in with nothing but kindness, it is not hard to be kind you never know what someone is going through.The extra 5 minute trip to tweed mall post office is definitely worth it if you want to be treated with respect.It takes me a bit to complain so this goes to show.

To start I understand that staff in post offices across the country in December may be stressed out. It would be a really hard time For them and I acknowledge that and respect it.But today when I politely asked for a label to post my already pre packed package the staff member asked me to wait to the side while I addressed the label. I explained I was ready and it would take me 15 seconds. Usually in other post offices they process the sale while I fill the label. Easy done.She then proceeded to serve the gentleman behind me and lo and behold he wanted passport photos. I chuckled to myself thinking surely she won’t do all that first before finishing my sale. By this time my label was ready and I was waiting to pay.She then proceeded to step away from the counter and spend 5 minutes taking passport photos while I waited at the counter. With 1 small package. Just wanting to pay.Like who in their right mind, serves one person first and then makes them wait while they take passport photos and wait for them to print before finishing their first sale.I work in retail. I love providing amazing customer service. Why can’t this be the same in such a simpleQuick transaction like a localPost office.South Tweed post office. Pick up your game. What a joke.
