Good new machines, 24min wash time. Would of given 5 stars but there is no change machine, so bring your own $2 coins

Only came once, a bit pricey for the load but considering there’s not many options around. Graham was very kind and helpful and even lent us some liquid soap to wash out big blankets. Nice, clean and tidy. Thank you!

Parkes Wash 'N' Dry
All washers and dryers are now new, good quality, operational. $6 per wash. BYO laundry powder/liquid.Only three washing machines. All were full when we arrived but came back later and some were available. Oddly enough there are four ENORMOUS driers and only three tiny washing machines. I can’t for the life of me imagine why they would need so many driers or when they might all be used.

This small laundromat has 2 working commercial washers that work well. They run for 24 minutes, costing $6.00 for a cycle. Another older machine is out of order.There is also a dryer that works, out of the three present. It costs $1.00 for 6 minutes.Other than that the interior is small and disheveled, with broken laminate flooring giving the place a run down look.Washers take one and two dollar coins, while the dryer take ones only.

About half the machines do not work. The shop appears to be in a state of disrepair without any attempt to rectify the problems. Worst laundromat encountered during our holiday from Tasmania to Queensland and return.

A few older machines and dryers out of order, but 2 new dryers and washing machines were good. 1 old dryer still working, and cheaper than the new ones. Could be a bit cleaner, but is heavily used.
