Kelly Sports

We registered our son for a sport programme at a primary school. Today was the first day and when my wife came there to pick up our son she could not find him. The coach was even unaware of the fact that this boy should be in her group. She started telling my wife that it was a mistake and this boy was not registered for the programme at all. Then my wife asked for a roll. When coach finally had a look at the roll she found his name there and immediately said that probably some of the other boys said his name when calling the roll. When I phoned office some time later I found out that the coach told her own version. That she was waiting for the kids for a while at a gathering point and kids told her that our son was absent from school and she decided not to wait any more. Moreover, she did not call the office nor parents.Thankfully, my son ended up in an after-school care programme that was nearby. He was a bit late and was sitting there alone were a personnel from this programme noticed him and invited him in.It was a horrible experience for us and it is not acceptable at all. The KellySport coach lied three times but there were a few parents around who came to pick up their kids and they heard what was happening. We can’t trust this programme and leave our son there to be looked after by a such person who did not even check the roll.

We joined this year. My 3.5 year old really enjoys the program. The coach is very interactive, attentive and great with the children. He gives everyone attention and help and is approachable and professional. The program is age appropriate, with a great mix of specific sport skills, fun, structure but also flexibility! Great variety of sports to learn, with the program changing every two weeks.

We organised my son’s birthday party through Mitch at Kelly Sports (north west). He was super helpful and efficient. On the day we had Julian to run our party. We couldn’t have asked for more. He came early and set up. He was so lovely to us and the kids. Handled 18 young boys easily. All the kids had the best time and it was a great way to get them moving and something different to do for a kids party. I highly recommend this for your next kids party. Thanks Mitch and Julian for a very memorable birthday for my son!

We have had an amazing time with Stef doing Kelly Sports with my twin toddlers. The kids have totally come out of their shells and the coach has been fantastic and encouraging but not scaring them, and they are very clearly gaining a huge amount of confidence each week.

I have been trying to contact this organisation for days. I have left voicemail messages and sent emails and no response. It is hopeless. The holiday program my daughter attended through them was very average too - not at all what they advertised! Never again will we book with Kelly Sports.

My son is 2 years old and he has just started doing Kelly Sports and he loves it! The coaches are fun and professional, the activities are engaging and it was very easy to sign up and find a session close to home.

Picked up my nephew from Plenty Parklands and he could not wipe the smile off his face as he thoroughly enjoyed the after school program run by Grace. Grace is an excellent team member for your company and made my nephew feel included in all activities. My nephew had heaps of fun and I could not thank Grace enough for her great work.

My kids have done Kelly Sports after school for 3 years and really enjoyed it.

Do NOT sign up with the program, it's pretty much a scam I signed up both my children for the basketball program with Kelly Sports Weekender. The advertisement stated basic basketball skills and match play. In a 6 week program we had a coach that had zero interest in the children would not even let them touch a basketball till the last 10mins of the session making them play tag and run around doing there own thing with no interaction. I didn't sign up and pay $90 each for my kids to do there own thing. I've sent emails with no response literally being ignored by the person that runs the program Dean.All the parents put complaints in and they have sent back a group email stating that they will give a $6 discount if we sign them back up for the next term ! No way is this a way to rectify and make up for the loss of time and money we have paid for the lack and incompetence in the coach they had assigned for the program.
