Tasty food and great presentation. The mains were mostly $25-34 but worth the portion and flavours. Recommend Devilled Chicken if you can handle spicy food. Never had a SriLankan cuisine experience before and would recommend this place. Would go again.

We were very excited about trying this place and drove all the way from the gold coast. Sadly the rice and curry (cubes of beetroot, beans curried, unshelled prawns with spinach, potato gravy and a hunk of fried fish) we tried was a disappointment. There was a huge amount of rice and quite average tasting veggies - certainly for a Sri Lankan palate. This would have been ok for an average SL meal but at $34 per plate ($68 for 2 people), we are talking gourmet pricing! We happened to have had a white table cloth lunch at GOMA restaurant earlier that day and the mains there cost less.. Maybe it was a one-off and maybe as a melbournian I was spoilt by places like upali's in Glen Waverley who do very authentic dishes like hathmaluwa and polos curry for very reasonable prices (12-15 per dish). As a Sri Lankan myself, nothing brings me more joy than seeing Sri Lankan businesses succeed. My feedback to management would be to re-examine their pricing vis-a-vis the industry standard. If sticking to these prices, justify them with creative menus (think elephant corridor in Melbourne) and organic/sustainably sourced ingredients.. And try to be a bit more professional in your responses to reviews on Google (it's not nice to see an owner lashing out at negative reviews). Who knows maybe the rest of their menu is good but as for the rice and curry, I would avoid it entirely until the menu is revised. Honestly though I wish you guys all the best - you certainly have great potential!***Thank you for your response and for your offer of refund though it is not necessary.I can see from your response that you do take pride in the food you plate.. The last thing I want is for my rating to bring down your average. As I said nothing makes me happier than to see a Sri Lankan business succeed. I have upgraded your rating in the hopes my feedback would be taken on board. Please keep the payment. Instead, one day, I hope to sample a dish from your restaurant that you are truly proud of and I will take great pleasure in replacing this review with a positive one.

Excellent mouthwatering authentic Sri Lankan food. Very rare in around Brisbane. Good service too. Busy place. Book before you go.

What a great night!The decor was lovely with cool green walls matching the leafy wallpaper, invoking a cool relaxed feelings. The only downer was a noisy banging front door.The service was warm and friendly and super attentive, and then the food!I took a Sri Lankan friend and the food reminded him of home cooking. It was very authentic and the flavours were bold and spicy hot.

The food was super tasty. We tried the buffet of the day. The food has imprinted a lasting after glow in our minds. It's Indian with a little bit of Malaysian flair. Definitely will go back and try their alacarte menu especially the crab dish. Thank you to the owner's daughter who was super nice and knowledgeable. It was a great birthday meal

Very disappointing!! Their capacity and customer service is very poor. I went to the restaurant with few other colleagues from another country to give the authentic Sri Lankan food experience. It was very embarrassing. We had to ask few times to bring the wine glasses and ordered ginger tea. We never received it.Because the girl never wrote them down. We wanted to use the bathroom. Light was not working. My Japanese friend had to use the torch.Then went there for the second time today at 7pm. Wanted to order curries with rice from the menu. Already ran out.There were not many options too.We had to go to a different place to have dinner. I understand it’s a small business. But customer satisfaction is the key for the success.

Authentic Srilankan cuisine at a very affordable price. Strongly recommend this place.

Great and cozy place to dine. Loved their diff food presentation. The kottu Prata was nicely done but found it to be salty and oily. Hopefully the gravy can be a lot more thicker.The bamboo biryani was nice. Especially the chicken gravy that came along. Pineapple could have been served in cubes instead of serving as a slice.It was challenging to eat it.A little pricey for Indian food. But if you need a different cushion experience,then it's ok.Coming back for the crab next time.

We went for the Saturday night buffet. Despite being fully booked and coming unannounced the manager did his best to seat us so we could enjoy the food. Very warm and hospitable. The food was lovely. Good variety. The fish cutlets were delicious as was the egg curry and kitty roti. They also had a nice selection of deserts. Clean, friendly service and great food. Would recommend!

The food is delicious, genuine Sri Lankan cuisine. It's also presented beautifully. Can't wait to try the banquet. But please get some vegan options as I'd love to take my daughter there!!
