East Gippsland Rail Trail Nicholson Parking
We rode from Nicolson to Bairnsdale and it was around 10km and was very flat and enjoyable. The kids loved it and in Bairnsdale there is a BMX track which was a lot of fun! You will truely enjoy it. The only issue is I got a puncture :(

Good place to park just on the outskirts of town. Cannot see any google option to review the rail trail in general, but have to say the trail surface is so smooth you can ride your road bike on it. (25mm tire advised). Even in winter the surface is good all the way from Bairnsdale to Bruthen, with very few muddy patches.
