Shoot Me Jimmy

THANK YOU JIMMY! Jimmy shot our wedding at Buckland Estate in Nov 2022. He is amazing to work with, so professional and communicative and worked tirelessly the whole day to capture it all. Sneak peek photos were sent less than 48 hrs after and looked so beautiful. Each shot captured our joy and love we felt on the day and his black and white photos were definitely my favourite shots. He helped us ease into the photoshoot and wasn't deterred by the crazy wind or unexpected rain on the day. Highly recommend Jimmy!!

Jimmy! Thank you so much for travelling to Geraldton for our wedding week. You were so professional and really knew your stuff! We barely noticed you and Ingrid during the wedding week and we love all the candid photos and moments you captured! You made sure all the photos were captured in the perfect lighting and I can’t wait to blow some of the pictures up for the house and have our coffee table book with all our favourite photos. One of the best decisions we made was contracting Shoot Me Jimmy for our wedding!We were hooked immediately upon seeing a collection of albums at a wedding expo, the way Jimmy captured all the emotions of various wedding days was really beautiful!Our engagement shoot was so much fun, and a really great way to get to know Jimmy and how he works - the images were beautiful.The sneak peak images from our wedding came through while we were away on our honeymoon, and it was such a fantastic surprise.The remaining full collection of images was delivered within a super quick timeframe! And of course are absolutely perfect, we love reliving the day through such stunning photos.We have also had our wedding album done, and it is gorgeous! Look forward to showing friends and family for many years to come.We already have, and will continue, to rave about Jimmy for years to come to anyone who will listen!

Jimmy did an amazing job, and the photos are of incredible quality. They will be cherished forever.Jimmy met with me a few days earlier to help scout the area. He helped plan the perfect spot, and the perfect time of day with the sun in the best place for the photos. He was well hidden and managed to take several photos. Then after the proposal, he walked up, congratulated us and did a small photo shoot with us.I highly recommend Jimmy for anyone wanting to secretly capture their proposal.

This review is a little late as my partner and I had our pre-wedding photoshoot in October last year with Jimmy and Jeff. But I want to give them a big shoutout for our amazing experience with the photoshoot.We got to know Jimmy through a friend who recommended him, and we met to talk about the different plans. We really liked the photos that he took for a couple at Bluff Knoll few years back and thought, why not give it a try? Jimmy was quite enthusiastic about the idea and we agreed to meet up at Albany.On the first day, he picked us up early in the morning. He explained to us what to expect as it was not an easy hike. My family came along in a different car. During the hike, Jimmy and Jeff were very patient and helpful, always looking out for us to make sure we're alright. When we got to the top, my gosh, the view was just incredible! Me and my partner changed into our suit and gown with their help and we took lots of photos. After the shoot, my brother got a bad leg cramp and Jimmy helped him all the way down, while Jeff took turns carrying our things and looking out for my mom.After we went back to rest, it became too rainy for our evening shoot outdoors, but Jimmy improvised and took some shots at our airbnb house and the backyard instead. The second day had better weather and it all went quite well.We really, really appreciate the one in a life time experience Jimmy has given us, and all the assistance that he and Jeff have provided us with no obligation throughout the photoshoot. We were very happy with the sneak peak photos, as well as the gallery that was sent weeks after.Thanks again Jimmy for your time and hard work!

I absolutely adored having Jimmy as our wedding photographer.We loved Jimmy's candid shooting style, he would also ask us questions during our location shoot to get reactions out of us and made it incredibly fun (my husband has been a groomsmen several times and has always complained of how boring it is to take photos, but he loved, loved, loved taking pictures with Jimmy). Jimmy also didn't waste our bridal party's time during the shoot and let them go off to join our guests during cocktail hour (instead of having them stand around for no reason) while my husband and I continued to have more pictures of us taken.I was also in love with the polaroid pictures Jimmy printed off for us on the day as well, and our sneak peak photos!!!Jimmy went above and beyond as our photographer - he helped me come up with the perfect wedding day timeline, from getting ready all the way through to the sparkler exit. Jimmy met up with us at Voyager Estate two days before our wedding to do a scout on the best areas and lighting for our ceremony and location shoot. Jimmy also noticed when I started to get overwhelmed during the family pictures post-ceremony, and paused to ask me if I was okay, a moment that I really appreciated.You really are the best at what you do!
