Food was great, fresh and flavourful. However, the consensus at our table was it was very overpriced. 29.90 for 6 prawns, 2 small oysters and a tiny bug. You’ll probably need some deep pockets to not go home hungry.

Best crispy Barra and chips I have ever had. It was not greasy. Nicely decorated with edible micro herbs and flowers. Soft drink was served with a separate glass full of ice.

Always friendly service. Attentive staff. Food was delicious. The platter was great although this time it was missing oysters and prawns in the seafood basket part. Maybe due to availability. Beautiful location!

What a delightful experience. Service excellence upon arrival, the unique opportunity to be seated looking over the river, a full drinks menu, then faced with the task of facing the Menu? Where to begin? Flavour, flavour and freshness. Absolutely heavenly. Thankyou to the Chef and the great staff. I meal I will remember for quite a long time.

REVIEW UPDATE 28.5.23The Fish Market is always brilliant the prawns are always amazingTried the restaurant for the first time and was very disappointed. The Fish & Chips was tiny for the price and the selection was pretty smallSo for now we will stick to the market side of the business

We went on a Sunday morning. My battered Barra and chips were very good. Batter was well done and chips were good. I'm fussy about my chips and batter! It's in a nice setting, not a lot of parking though. My partner said his grilled Barra was very nice.We recently booked for a Sat Dinner in a group of 5. Service was good. Food was still nice. Felt like we were being rushed a little by the staff whipping the plates away and sometimes asking if they could take them before we had finished eating. The mains came out before entrees were finished.I also got bitten several times, so wear some insect repellent.Everyone enjoyed the food. The prawn curry was nice, so was battered fish. Had prawns for entrees. We got 10 each.

We lunched there today while the atmosphere is great the fish was tough and uneatable. It's sad as this is not the first time. We mentioned it to the super helpful staff again but when you pay top dollar for fish we would have liked to have been able to finish it.

The location and presentation of the food are excellent; however, when going to a new seafood restaurant, you expect the seafood to be just that, fresh! The coconut prawn curry tasted delicious, but the prawns were terrible; they were mushy and lacked texture. If they were today's catch, I'm the queen's mother. After waiting 45min for my lunch, I was extremely disappointed and didn't finish. My partner, however, had a fresh seafood platter, and the food was delicious.
