Diane has been the rosebud in my business that has enabled it to continue and now blossom. Always prompt in replying to my questions, which alleviates much grief, as I navigate the road ahead. After doing my own tax return for the first time last year, I miscalculated tax withheld due to a missing 2nd group certificate made necessary by a change in my employers trading name during that period of time.Receiving a scary letter from the Tax Dept. and little understanding at that point of why, I contacted Diane at Hassall & Hyde. Diane and Joy have been a Joy to work with.I initially came to Diane for my taxes.. She was so knowledgeable and really helped me when I was in deep deep trouble.The best thing has been that even though I live in Sydney, we do everything by email and the rest over the phone. I met Diane at her charming office. She was very friendly, organised and professional. She took me through the whole process of tax return with clear and detailed explanations about what's going on. She also pointed out other things that will be beneficial to me. (i.e. how to claim family tax benefit part A, when I need a private health insurance, etc.). At the end of the meeting, she gave me a folder holding all related paper work of tax return matter. I was very happy with the service she provided to me. She charged me based on the hours. I strongly recommend her tax return service to my friends and others.

This woman is amazing! She makes all the scary spooky yukky bits of owning a small business not scary, spooky and yukky and talks proper English, not Accountantsenglish. She (and her bookkeeping homie) have saved my hyde and im forever grateful. And as an added bonus, is a sweetheart too!

I spent 3k fixing up Diane Hyde's mistakes. She lodged all my BAS invoices incorrectly. It took months to fix her mistakes. On multiple occasions she would forget about an appointment I had booked with her, and not show up, even though I'd blocked full days out to see her. Do not recommend, avoid at all costs.
