Great place for a rest stop it is a free rest stop. The toilets could use some cleaning and a refresh so please donate when you arrive.The bridge history is rather cool and a good look out for watching the sun set.Plenty of area for anyone wanting to stay

Lovely free camp. Toilets (hohum) no showers. The river is gorgeous, sandy bottomed and clear running warm water. Ideal for a splash around on a hot afternoon. The site is well maintained. Great place to chill out. Busy ..

Little hard to find. Rest area off the road, on the way to Eden, on left hand side coming from Orbost. Grassy sites, donation for keeping it watered, mowed, cleaned and upkeep/maintenance...no paper towel so take a hand towel and no showers here. Has picnic shelter...bridge, walking to river or the old town...not crowded like Mallacoota. The nearest town to Genoa has a swimming beach, fuel, supermarket, nice views and we found a coffee van and pizza stand up a side street. Great quiet base. Felt very safe here and lots of room to move about too. No noisy trucks best of all

Nice campground, BBQ, flush toilet, picnic table, and non-drinkable water. During the night can hear birds singing and cow howling, is very peaceful and lovely. Not too crowded.

Great free camping stop 25 mins from Mallocoota town centre. Lots of other campers when we were there. Leave no trace policy. 72 hours max. Toilets but no showers. Fire pits. Highly recommend if on a budget roadtrip or just need somewhere to sleep for the night

An excellent free camp just off the highway. The old toilets are usable, albeit a bit rough and running non-potable water is available. Not much road noise and lots of bird songs. Genoa is accessible across the historic bridge. Lush mowed grass and picnic tables are provided by the local community with some donations from travellers.
