Omg, great! We had driven a long way, planned to stop in Charlton for something to eat but everything was closed, went back to the Roadhouse.. Freshly cooked food in a lovely cool place to sit down. We felt well cared for by the bloke who runs the place. We left, re-charged on a hot day of a long drive grateful for the Lizard Roadhouse! Thanks mate

To the weary traveller if u call into the lizard roadhouse, u will get promp straight to the point, service and advice. The food filled a gap, contrary to advice, the food didn't take long to defrost, oops I mean cook. Customer service was at its best when we placed our evening meal order, Maggie and Steve were at the top of their game. Keep up the work.

Steve was so welcoming and made us a delicious meal on our way to Mildura. The burgers are massive! A great place to stop for a meal on your travels.

Now called Chompys.Called in for late breakfast and a chat, found the service to be very helpful and the food excellent.Wod definitely recommend this place for food, service and conversation.Rember now Chumpys.

I always stop here when I can. Best truck stop on the Calder for quality of food. Definitely not one of the modern plastic places which have as much character as my fridge.

Well it's now called Chompy's... Coffee is amazing, always service with a smile and usually a funny joke, always have time for a chat with the customers. The Chompy's dogs are amazing and they have a great selection of lollies sourced from local small businesses...
