The outside gives the vibe of a quaint Old school tavern, I expected cozy settings , antique or old furniture, a quiet environment. However i felt it looked a bit cheap on the inside, the furniture, the bright light, and the sound carries.I had the burger, and while it tasted fine, it was definitely a thick, probably bread-crumb loaded patty, and chunks of ice berg lettuce really cheapened it..for the price I paid, I'd expect better quality ingredients and preparation. Overall, it was ok.

The service was very welcoming and the food was great. The salt and pepper calamari was cooked perfectly and was a great size meal. Will definitely return.

The food was ok, however I gave 4 star since there was no one taking our order for about 15 minutes until I went and asked one of the staff to take the orders.The food also took ages to be ready. Took more than 40 minutes to see our food on the table.

Staff were very friendly and the venue has a nice charm to it. Food was OK and the prices very reasonable. Nice Espresso Martini and very surprising to see Raki at the bar.

Very average pub meal, we ordered the chicken parmigiana and I couldn’t eat it as it had a really odd flavour and cooked very inconsistently. Almost like it was frozen and they had half defrosted it, then cooked it. Really gross.This pub has so much potential, however they need to put a little more love into certain areas, the outdoor seating area was a little run down and the chairs were all dirty and covered in spiders.

Hunters Tryst Beveridge Pub
I went here for the first time n was rapt to see so many old pic's n memorabilia from an old pub built in 1864. Apparently Ned Kelly a Dad's local...in the day. Ned's old school is just down the road too. Great atmosphere n the view's from the huge deck are amazing. The sunset's are gorgeous on a warm summer's night but I'd love to be here on a winter's night as well. The local's are most welcoming n the food is delish! I've been back twice n I'm not a local. Lamb cutlets n mash the first time. Seafood platter n tropical chicken burger were chosen n our group were very impressed with the menu, size n food. A little pricey but worth it imo. Check out the special's as well.

Amazing decor... lots of history... interesting artifacts... yummy food...well worth a visit...all in a country setting so take a designated driver so you can enjoy a nice cold beer!!!
