Taja Brasserie

I have been to the services club for dinner multiple times and every time has been a poor experience and only getting worse . Bar staff are great and cannot be faulted . Bistro has always been a horrendous experience since the new owners have taken over. This evening I have ordered a kids meal , along with chicken schnitzle - the gravy tasted and smelt of chemicals ( actual chemicals . The chicken has actually physically burnt my tongue instantly with tastes of bleach . My tongue has swelled up and has burnt marks all over it within minutes . I don’t believe the staff are washing the products correctly as this was the taste of pure bleach . I am actually so disgusted in this , the wait time was ridiculous ( absolutely ridiculous) children waiting 2* hours for chicken nuggets and garlic bread . The chicken smelt and tasted of chemicals , there was raw fish served , there was garlic bread with flies on it sitting for 40 minutes that the lady tried to serve to a 2 year old. This is the worst experience I have ever had at any place of dining . Please please get the peasants out of the kitchen , stop using bleach to clean products and fix the wait times this is crazy . 7+ people had their meals refunded on the same night , your working for nothing serving poison only to refund the payment . What’s the point ?

Thank you to all at Taja Brasserie. They catered at a family memorial that was held at the Services’s club. They did an amazing job. Thank you very very much for helping to ensure that part of the memorial occurred very smoothly.

Ordered takeaway and when we got home we were very disappointed with the size of the “full ribs” and there was no slaw in the bag only a small serve of chips. The risotto was a decent serving size but it didn’t match the description on the menu. Definitely not good value for money.

Had their Tuesday's Special Rump, Meat cooked to perfection and a very small serve of chips. The carpeted flooring in the Main dining area and leading to the order station smells fishy and strong stench of urine.

We order click n collect regularly and cannot fault our meals. Service has been above and beyond.well done!

Beautiful table setting and funny thoughtful staff.

Food was great as was the service.

Beautifully cooked wings; moist and full of flavour. Generous lamb shank, again perfectly cooked with aldente vegetables. Pasta not quite up to the standard of the previous dishes, but very satisfactory. We'd certainly go again.

Really good food for a club. Lamb shank and lamb cutlets along with mash and steamed vegetables were delicious.
