The Farmhouse at Meletos

Beautiful. Incredible rooms, good service, beautiful spot. Only downside is noisy upstairs floors when hard shoes are walking around, not great soundproofing in the rooms.

A beautiful place to unwind! Meletos Cafe serve exceptionally delicious food, rooms very clean and modern at the Farmhouse. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Great scenery!

Stayed at Meletos Farmhouse over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed for the night and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also did the dining package with the dinner and breakfast the next morning which was lovely! Would highly recommend for a night away!

We dined and say stayed at this accommodation for 1 night and overall had a very good experience. The accommodation decor and the view was stunning. The staff were quiet friendly and food was fairly good.

This was the fourth time we've stayed at The Farmhouse, including once for our wedding. We opted for the 'Stay and Dine' package for one night, which we've previously experienced. Whilst the rooms remain clean and in good condition and the views excellent, there was a notable reduction in amenities this time around, and the smell of the Farmhouse and our room was lacking its previous refreshing scent and was more on the musky side.I was disappointed at the absence of mocktails during dinner at The Stables - not even a simple mocktail using cucumber, mint, simple syrup and tonic was able to be made. The wait staff were disappointing when compared to previous visits; less polished and more often than not, unable to remember what they were serving to us and answer basic wine pairing questions. The ambience and food was otherwise lovely.Breakfast at Meletos was also disappointing. When we first did a Stay and Dine, there were a la carte options. Now, it was a small continental buffet in the middle of the restaurant. The food was uncovered/unprotected and without any refrigeration. No a la carte was available, which was particularly unfortunate for individuals with dietary requirements. Thankfully upon informing the manager I was pregnant and so could not safely consume any of the room temperature food (smoked salmon, hams, quiches with soft cheese etc), the kitchen agreed to make me a simple omelet at no extra cost.Unfortunately this experience was a bit of a let down and we will not be returning again.

What a magnificent experience! Who needs to go interstate or overseas when we have such gorgeous estates to visit right here in Victoria! We were greeted by friendly helpful staff, room at the Farmhouse was quality with styling to suit the premises. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Stones & wonderful breakfast the next morning at Meletos. The entire experience was a feast for our senses & I would highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy themselves.

Wonderful weekend stay at this gorgeous rustic, Tuscan style accommodation in the Yarra Valley. The weather was wintery but our room was cosy and there was a lovely fireplace to relax by in the main entrance area. We treated ourselves to a delicious and unforgettable dinner in the beautiful restaurant, The Stables.

Overall a nice enough time but wouldn’t book again or recommend to others. Overpriced. The rooms were disappointing, quite small, no couch, no bath. There is also no pool or anything so in our opinion lacking the facilities to be classed as a 5 start hotel. Further to this it is very noisy. You can hear everything in the hallway and in the lobby from your room, there is no sound proofing and all the floors are wooden. It wasn’t very relaxing.

We stayed here 6 weeks ago and had a terrible experience with the hotel receptionist, so bad that I even emailed the management team but received no response from their end.We stayed here after attending a wedding at Stones and was treated very rudely. We were assisting the bride with an emergency and we did not even receive any assistance from the reception, instead, just rude and condescending words. Even when we confronted him about it, we did not even receive the slightest hint of apology.Despite the beautiful interiors and good wedding experience, the terrible experience with the receptionist really tainted our stay.
