Great salmon and salad for lunch and at a good price too. Friendly service as well. I've been back a bunch of times now and the service and food has been great all the time. I definitely recommend this place and the salmon and salad for lunch.

Kogarah fish market is the only fish market in Kogarah it's very convenient otherwise we have to go to Rockdale or Hurstville which is little bit out of the way plus their prices are reasonable and the are always fresh

Great prices, and I notice a lot of hospital staff eat here.The potato scallops aren’t the best; the first time I tried them, the potato was too thin and, as a result, mushy, and it felt like I was eating an oil cake.The second time I tried a potato scallop, I asked for a thick one, which I picked out. It was undercooked and hard to eat, almost as unpleasant as my first experience.I recommend they invest in a potato slicer so they can be consistent with the thickness of the potato.

Website says open to 6pm. I get there 5:25pm to order barramundi and chips. To be told kitchen closed. I said not even 5:30pm. Made no difference wouldn’t serve me. Please update your website to the truth.

Bought some blue mackerel here after looking for a good local fishmonger and seeing the positive Google reviews. Good price for the amount of fish, but definitely was not fresh at all. In fact the flesh was falling off the bones (prior to cooking) and the smell was terrible. Tried cooking it anyway but was totally inedible, threw out the lot. Won't be going back.

Food was 45mins late and didn't taste fresh at all. It was also cold like it was made before the order was even made.The next time I order here im going to have it processed by the Australian Government, Food standards and safety. And I'll have them look into this store.
